The Journey of Faith and Fellowship Since 1994
Since our founding in 1994, the Living Water United Evangelical Churches Emirates has embarked on a profound journey of faith, fellowship, and unwavering belief in the transformative power of the Gospel. Over the past 30 years, what began as a small congregation of faithful believers has blossomed into a vibrant community. United by a shared vision, we’ve spread the love and teachings of Jesus Christ throughout the United Arab Emirates, from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, Sharjah to Al Ain, growing in numbers and spirit.

Statement Of Faith
The Bible
The inspired and infallible Word of God” affirms the belief that the Bible is divinely inspired and without error in its teachings. This principle holds that the scriptures are the ultimate authority for faith, life, and the governance of the church, serving as the foundational truth for believers.
About God
One True God” refers to the understanding that there is only one God, who exists eternally in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. This concept, known as the Trinity, emphasizes the unity of God in His essence and being, while acknowledging the distinct roles and relationships within the Godhead. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are coequal, coeternal, and consubstantial, each person fully God, yet there is only one God. This foundational belief is central to the Christian faith, highlighting the complexity and mystery of the divine nature.
About Jesus
The “Deity of Jesus Christ” affirms His divine nature, emphasizing His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, death on the cross for humanity’s sins, resurrection from the dead, and ascension to heaven. This core belief highlights Jesus as fully God and fully man, integral to Christian faith, underscoring His role in salvation and His authority in the Godhead.
Fall Of Man
Man was created good and upright; for God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.” However, man by voluntary transgression fell and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God (Genesis 1:26,27; 2:17; 3:6; Romans 5:12-19).
Salvation
“Salvation” in Christian doctrine refers to the deliverance from sin and its consequences, achieved through faith in Jesus Christ. It encompasses the act of being saved or protected from harm and signifies the redemption of individuals from sin and its effects by God’s grace. Salvation is central to Christian faith, emphasizing that it is a gift from God through faith in Jesus Christ, not earned by personal merit or works. This belief underscores the transformative power of accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, leading to spiritual rebirth and eternal life with God.
Church Ordinances
The “Church Ordinances” refer to sacred practices established by Jesus Christ to be observed by the church. These include Baptism by immersion, symbolizing the believer’s identification with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection, and the Lord’s Supper or Holy Communion, a commemoration of Jesus’ death and a proclamation of His return. These ordinances serve as means of grace, symbols of faith, and acts of obedience to Jesus’ commands, reflecting an individual’s faith in Jesus Christ and membership in the Christian community.
Baptism in the Holy Spirit
The “Baptism in the Holy Spirit” is understood as a distinct and empowering experience for believers, subsequent to salvation, characterized by speaking in tongues as the initial physical evidence. This doctrine emphasizes the Holy Spirit’s role in empowering individuals for Christian life and service, enhancing their ability to witness and live according to God’s will.
Sanctification
“Sanctification” is the process of being made holy, set apart for God’s purpose. It involves the believer’s gradual growth in righteousness and moral purity through the work of the Holy Spirit. This transformative process begins at salvation and continues throughout the believer’s life, aiming for spiritual maturity and Christlikeness. Sanctification is both a divine gift and a responsibility, calling for the believer’s active participation in pursuing holiness through obedience to God’s Word.
Church and Its Mission
The “Church and Its Mission” emphasizes the church’s role as the body of Christ, tasked with spreading the Gospel, making disciples, and expressing God’s love through worship, fellowship, and service. This mission involves evangelizing the lost, worshipping God, building a body of believers into maturity and faith, and demonstrating God’s love and compassion to all people.
Ministry
The “Ministry” reflects a divinely called and scripturally ordained service within the church. It is meant for equipping believers, serving the body of Christ, and fulfilling the church’s mission to evangelize, disciple, and show compassion to the world. This calling encompasses various roles and functions within the church, aimed at building up the Christian community and extending its outreach.
Divine Healing
“Divine Healing” refers to the belief that God can and does heal physical illnesses and disabilities in response to prayer, faith, or the use of spiritual gifts. This healing is seen as part of Christ’s atoning work and a manifestation of God’s compassion and power. It is considered an integral aspect of the Gospel, affirming God’s ongoing involvement in the well-being of believers.
Blessed Hope
The “Blessed Hope” refers to the Christian expectation of Jesus Christ’s imminent return to earth to gather His church, an event known as the Rapture. This hope is cherished among believers, symbolizing the culmination of God’s salvation plan and the beginning of eternal life with Christ. It encourages Christians to live in readiness and holiness, anticipating the joyous reunion with the Lord.
Millennial Reign of Christ
The “Millennial Reign of Christ” refers to a future period mentioned in Christian eschatology where Christ will reign on earth for a thousand years. This doctrine is based on biblical prophecy and describes a time of peace and righteousness, where Jesus rules directly over an earthly kingdom. This period follows the second coming of Christ and precedes the final judgment and the creation of a new heaven and a new earth. It is a time of restoration and fulfillment of God’s promises to His people.
Final Judgment
The “Final Judgment” is a foundational Christian belief that after the Millennial Reign of Christ, all people will be resurrected and judged by God. This judgment will determine their eternal destiny, with believers receiving eternal life and communion with God, and unbelievers facing eternal separation and punishment. It underscores the seriousness of earthly life and choices in relation to eternal consequences.
New Heavens and New Earth
The “New Heavens and New Earth” concept in Christian eschatology describes the final and eternal state of the world, where God will recreate heaven and earth. This new creation is characterized by the absence of sin, death, and suffering. It signifies the ultimate fulfillment of God’s promise to fully restore creation, where believers will dwell with God forever in a perfect environment, reflecting the complete realization of God’s kingdom and the eternal harmony of all things.
